We are delighted to be teaming up with Keith Kirk, who is a local wildlife and natural history photographer and writer.
Keith is a Countryside Ranger with the Dumfries and Galloway Ranger Service and is an extremely knowledgeable character who will take you on daily excursions to capture the best in wildlife and landscape photography in the surrounding area.
This is an all-inclusive weekend that includes: A champagne reception, guided daily excursions and talks, delicious dinner, packed lunches, hearty Scottish breakfasts, afternoon tea.

CAVENS and the RSPB joined forces for the sixth year to offer a birdwatching weekend with a difference in March and November 2009. The two-day break combines our inimitable comfort and hospitality with daily excursions to nature reserves and birdwatching hot spots in Dumfries and Galloway under the leadership and guidance of local expert, Dave Fairlamb of the Mersehead RSPB Reserve.
The wide range of habitats in this stunning part of Dumfries and Galloway provide fantastic birdwatching with the possibility of seeing over 80 species, including swans, geese, diving and dabbling ducks, waders, birds of prey and woodland birds.
