rooms provide either extra space or a fine outlook. All
have en-suite facilities that are accessorised with luxury
toiletries from Gilchrist & Soames.
A complimentary provision of fruit and a tea tray
with fine china and a selection of teas and coffee
accompanied by locally made biscuits await you on arrival.
Bedside mineral waters, books and local guides are also
provided. Of course all this must be aligned to a good
nights sleep - and here you will not be disappointed.
The beds are specified as top of the range and are topped off with goose down pillows.
The large windows in each room provide wonderful vistas of Cavens' grounds
- notable in spring with a massive red Rhododendron tree as well as a mature
cherry blossom tree - and the surrounding countryside of the Solway Firth.
Expected facilities such as a hairdryer, television
and direct dial telephone are also provided.
Cavens is also a pet friendly hotel in Dumfries and for those wishing to bring their dogs, they are pleased
to welcome them at an additional £10 per stay.
Complimentary afternoon tea is served in the lounge at 4pm everyday.

Special Rates
Special rates are available for stays of three or more nights. These rates
are negotiated based on the length of stay and the time of year.
Breakfast
The above rates are per room per night and include full Scottish breakfast
and VAT. Continental and full Scottish breakfast is served from 8:00 to
10:00 am in the restaurant.
Dinner
Dinner is served between 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm. Three courses including coffee - £30.00
Dogs
Dogs are welcome and there is a charge of £10 per stay.
